We've been talking about going to Seastar Restaurant for quite sometime and we finally went for lunch today. The service was good and the restaurant had a fantastic seafood selection. Tyler enjoyed his Mac and Cheese.

Later that evening, we had our friends Rich and Cristina over for dinner. It was really nice to finally meet their little boy Rylan. Tyler bonded with Rylan's older brother Rees right away. I prepared Korean dishes such as shrimp & vegetable pancake, baked mackerel, soft tofu soup, and bimbimbap. What's a Korean dinner without the banchans (side dishes)? So I attempted to prepare a few banchans like Korean mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, stir fry fish cake, pickled cucumber, and spicy soy bean sprout. I bought the radish kimchi and cabbage kimchi at HMart. I didn't even want to try making kimchi from scratch. The food turned out really good and our friends enjoyed it as much as we did.
