On his first swimming class

I've been thinking of taking Tyler to a swimming class before and even considered attending Waterbabies parent-tot classes. I'm glad I decided to wait till Tyler is old enough to understand and follow directions. I took him to Mountlake Terrace Pool because I've heard really good reviews about this facility. It is a suitable place for a toddler to learn how to swim. It has a leisure pool, lazy river, shallow area and couple lap lanes. Not to mention the water is warm. I was a little nervous today as this is Tyler's very first time in the pool without me or his dad and I was worried that he would insist of having me there next to him. Surprisingly, he was eager to go on his own and really enjoyed the class. The 30 minutes session went by really fast and he told me that he wants to go again tomorrow. That's always a good thing to hear.
